Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Summer 2021 Tournaments  

            First and foremost we want to offer our condolences to everyone that has been directly affected by the COVID-19 virus.  Just like you, the highlight of our summer is running these tournaments. We are doing everything we can to still proceed with as many tournaments as possible. Soccer in the Sand is working closely with both the Cities and any State Beaches for the possibility of running a safe tournament for 2021. With that being said, unfortunately, we have been forced to cancel some of our events entirely for 2021. Others we are planning to run on the original date or looking to postpone for later in the summer, assuming it is safe to do so.  

            Please reference below each tournament and its current status. We will continue to update our website and please check the specific tournament location page for the status of that particular event and any additional information.  If any changes are made to a specific tournament notification will be sent to the teams already registered for that specific tournament.

You may click on the link below for your registration refund if a tournament has been canceled and your payment was processed for registration.

Michigan City, IN: July 17-18

Detroit, MI (July event): July 17-18

Chicago, IL: July 24

Waukegan, IL: July 24

Detroit, MI (August event): August 7-8

Erie, PA: July 31

Muskegon, MI: July 31 - August 1

 As parents, coaches and small business owners ourselves, we sympathize with how difficult this time has been.  We are all in this together and hope everyone stays safe and healthy.
